The Drift renovation started with the urge to re-vamp a dated 1970's bathroom. While on a tight budget and timeline, the main goals were to brighten the space and help to make the narrow floor plan feel a bit wider. We achieved these goals by removing the tub surround and glassing in a generous shower stall to allow for light to fill the whole bathroom. We also lowered the wall between the shower and toilet area to let natural light in from the window. To open up the narrow circulation zone, we reduced the vanity width to 21" and upgraded the shower door to a slider. The project was completed by Icon Developments on time and in budget and the clients couldn't be happier. This project was a 2013 Georgie's Finalist for best renovation!
